Entity Subtypes
The subType field provides additional classification for certain entity types. The available subtypes depend on the entity type and country.
None
For entity types that do not have subtypes (such as company, individual, soleTrader, governmentBody, cooperative, indigenousCorporation), use:

none | No subtype. Use this value when the entity type does not require a subtype. |
Association subtypes
Available when type is association:

incorporatedAssociation | An association that has been formally incorporated under relevant legislation. |
unincorporatedAssociation | An association that has not been formally incorporated. |
Partnership subtypes
Available when type is partnership:

generalPartnership | A partnership where all partners share equal responsibility for management and unlimited liability. |
limitedPartnership | A partnership with at least one general partner with unlimited liability and one or more limited partners. |
other | Other partnership structures not covered above. |
Trust subtypes (Australia)
Available when type is trust and country is AUS:

bareTrust | A trust where the trustee has no active duties and holds assets for the absolute benefit of beneficiaries. |
charitableTrust | A trust established for charitable purposes. |
discretionaryTrust | A trust where the trustee has discretion over how income and capital are distributed to beneficiaries. |
hybridTrust | A trust that combines features of both discretionary and unit trusts. |
otherRegulatedTrust | A regulated trust that does not fit other categories. |
otherUnregulatedTrust | An unregulated trust that does not fit other categories. |
registeredManagedInvestmentScheme | A managed investment scheme registered with ASIC. |
smsf | Self-managed superannuation fund. |
superannuationFund | A regulated superannuation fund other than an SMSF. |
testamentaryTrust | A trust created by a will that comes into effect upon the death of the testator. |
unitTrust | A trust where beneficiaries hold units representing their interest in the trust. |
unregisteredManagedInvestmentScheme | A managed investment scheme that is not registered with ASIC. |
